equipping pastors to love the unborn
Tuesday 16th October 2018 | 10am - 4pm | The Emmanuel Centre, London
Priest, Levite, or Good Samaritan? What are our obligations to the unborn, and how do we fulfil them?
1 in 3 women in the UK have had at least one abortion by the age of 45. Many of these are church-going Christians. The primary victims of abortion cannot speak for themselves. If we don’t speak out, who will?
It’s time to be a voice for the voiceless.
On Tuesday 16 October 2018 pastors will gather from all over the UK to learn together how to lead their people through the challenging and painful landscape of abortion in a one-day conference.
As well as pastors, we welcome all those involved in leading any kind of church ministry: elders, evangelists, women's workers, youth leaders, seminarians, small group leaders...
We will be hearing from a variety of speakers on different aspects, including: a woman’s story of post-abortion forgiveness and healing in Jesus’s name; the biblical mandate to defend innocent life; the history of effective social reform and how we can reverse thetrajectory.
The day will be characterised by compassion, hope, and positive action, and high quality resources will be made available for participating pastors to take home and use in their churches.
“BREAKING THE SILENCE” will be hosted by Brephos, a ministry that exists to equip churches to speak out for the unborn, and we will enjoy input from a number of life affirming organisations, ministries, and individuals. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Tickets are £20 each.
Bursaries are availlable to those who need them to attend: e.mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
